Cotton Hand-Stitched Quilt In Stellata
Hand-stitched cotton quilt in the Erica Tanov original print, Stellata.
To make our hand-stitched quilts, the Stellata pattern is translated onto cotton fabric using a screen printing printing process. The front and back cotton panels are then hand-sewn together and filled with lightweight cotton batting. Our weavers then begin to meticulously hand-stitch the quilting detail.
Any irregularity in printing should be not be viewed as a defect but rather celebrated as a hallmark of the printing process used to make this piece.

About Stellata
Based on one of Erica’s original paintings of a beloved magnolia tree in her backyard, the Stellata print originally debuted as a part of her Spring 2010 collection. This spring brings a new bloom of the print, revisiting the delicate floral in romantic, easy-wearing silhouettes.
