Anni Lamp
In 1950 Josef Albers began Homage to the Square, a series of works in which the artist focuses on a square compositional scheme and solid colours. This long series is a study of the interaction between colour, form and position.
Inspired by a particular work from this series, the Anni Lamp reflects its colour palette and is composed of geometries based solely on the square. The Anni Lamp seen from above represents an abstraction of the painting.
Materials: aged bronce base and lacquered metal shade. Outer face of the shade lacquered in RAL3004, inner face lacquered in RAL3012.
