Assembled Collection of Apothecary Vessels
Collection of antique apothecary vessels from the 19th-early 20th centuries. A wonderful set composed of:
- Etched medicine glass inside a patinaed dark green leather travel case. Bottom marked in gilded stamp for Thomspon, London. Case measures 2.5″ T x 2.25″ W. Glass measures 2.5″ T x 2″ W.
- 19th century bottle of gold leaf inside wood lidded vessel. Wood vessel measures 5″ T x 2″ W.
- Early 20th century bottle and case of Langdale’s Essence of Cinnamon. Case measures 5″ T x 2″ W.
In beautiful antique condition. The collection features the markers of time and use, which only add to the unique character of the set.

A collection of seven Swedish apothecary jars from the early 20th century. These antique jars from Sweden were once used to hold an apothecary’s (or pharmacists) wares and chemicals. This wonderful set of seven jars, in varying sizes, are each made of brown colored glass, with rounded lids, and display their original white painted labels with their once known contents written in black lettering. This collection of antique Swedish apothecary jars would be a wonderful way to decorate a cabinet, shelf, or counter. Tallest measures: 3.75 inches wide x 8 inches high Smallest measures: 2.5 inches wide x 6 inches high.
