The Rivet Shelf offers a seamless blend of storage and display capabilities, all within a minimalist design. Crafted from laser-cut raw aluminum sheets, this shelf showcases a unique riveting technique that enables sturdy perpendicular joints. Created by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2011, each piece is meticulously assembled by hand, lending a touch of craftsmanship to its character.
Mounting the Rivet Shelf is a breeze, thanks to the separate backplate. As it ages, the raw aluminum surface will develop a natural patina, acquiring a charming blend of marks and tinted materiality. However, it’s important to note that due to the material’s unfinished nature, scratches and irregularities may be present initially.
Capable of supporting up to 10 kg (dependent on wall material and mounting), the Rivet Shelf is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, perfect for modern spaces that crave both style and practicality.
